Enjoy a wild aquatic ride with this seafaring Jet Viper powerboating experience in Southampton. Boasting outstanding manoeuvrability and rapid pace, the 400HP Jet Viper is perfect for performing high-speed spins, wake jumps and water slides across open water. Begin with a safety briefing before boarding the Viper and slowly cruising down the river to Southampton water. Once at sea, the adventure really begins – hold on tight as your skipper picks up the pace and experience this nimble vessels full capabilities through a series of exhilarating side slides, spins, crash stops and donuts! Once back on dry land, receive a debrief and take away a photograph to remember the experience by.
Availability: At least one weekday or weekend date per week from May – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity. It’s essential to call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before the booking. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to 90 minutes, including a briefing, debrief and 60 minutes on the water. Numbers On Day: Share the Jet Viper with up to 10 others, plus a fully qualified skipper. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. The marina is equipped with a number of restaurants and bars. Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear flat, non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles are useful in sun and wind. Guidelines: From M27, exit J3 onto M271 following signs to ‘Waterfront’. With Ocean Village on your right, drive straight on, under bridge until you reach T junction with ‘The Chapel Arms’ ahead. Turn right, then right again at roundabout by St. Mary’s Stadium (into Belvidere Road). Pick up signposts for Shamrock Quay and turn right into William Street. From M3, exit J14 onto A33, then follow directions as above. Please telephone if you have any problems. Restrictions: Minimum age is 8, maximum age is 70. Maximum weight is 18 stone.
