Prepare for some sideways action with this full-throttle drifting experience available at three venues around the UK. During this half day session, learn essential drifting skills from a professional in a drift prepared Nissan Skyline or 200SX. Following a briefing, hone your skills under expert guidance as you try and master the art of doughnuts and figures of eight. Then, navigate a specially set out circuit of left and right hand bends for a full four laps. The challenge is to beat the instructor, giving him the perfect lap! Finally hop into the passenger seat and experience three high-speed laps sat next to a professional drift driver, who will try to get as close to the car in front as possible whilst sliding the Nissan sideways. The ultimate thrill!

Availability: At least one weekday or weekend date at each venue per month throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for four hours, including 20 – 30 minutes driving and three laps of the track in the passenger seat. Numbers On Day: Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe facilities on-site. Please note that animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 17. Min height 4’6”, max 6’9”. Max weight 22 stone. A full manual driving licence must be produced on the day. Non-licensed drivers are restricted to Rockingham and Essex and must pay an insurance excess of £39.50 on the day. Other Info: Available at Rockingham Raceway, Birmingham Wheels Raceway, Essex Driving Academy and Donington Park. Please note: Essex Driving Academy is not suitable to be accessed by lowered cars as there is a very bumpy road on the approach.
