Description

Test nerves and take a ‘head over heels’ splash-filled, wet ride down a hill in a giant sphere with water inside. Expect to be smiling from ear to ear by hitting speeds of up to 30 mph in a huge PVC ball. Once paired up with another participant, jump inside the ball with a bucket’s worth of water and slide around inside like a human washing machine. The feeling of euphoria is enough to have anyone literally bouncing with excitement. Afterwards, feel free to relax in the surroundings with friends, family and other participants for the day, watching others roll.

Availability: Events run most weekends between April and September. Dates fill quickly and we recommend booking several weeks in advance. Weather: High wind or heavy rain can make sphereing unsafe and any cancellations are made with safety in mind. Call the weather line on the morning of the experience to confirm if it is going ahead. Duration: Lasts up to an hour, with a few seconds to a full minute actually spent in the ball rolling. Numbers On Day: Two participants share the sphere each time, but there will be others on-site on the day. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of family and friends are welcome to come along on the day, the more the merrier. Dress Code: Aqua sphereing is wet so a change of clothes and towels are vital. Shoes and socks, jewellery, glasses and any other loose items must be removed. Guidelines: Further location details are issued when a date has been booked. Restrictions: Must be fit, healthy and not pregnant. Min height 4ft, max weight 18 stone. Min age 12, max 60. A brief health questionnaire is to be completed before the ride.
