Get acquainted with the ultimate pocket rocket – the mighty Ariel Atom! This baby has no roof or doors, a top speed of 150 mph and an acceleration rate of 0 – 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, providing a driving experience unlike any other. Start with a welcome and safety briefing, indicating essential racing lines and track handling techniques to ensure the most is gotten ot of driving time. Then take over and grab the wheel for six stunning miles in the super quick Ariel Atom, negotiating every twist, turn and bend of the Lydden Hill circuit. After catching some breath, take home a certificate as a special memento of this amazing driving experience.

Availability: Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour, including briefing and driving laps. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 4’10”, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 19 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
