Test drive two genuine racing legends with this adrenaline-fuelled Aston Martin versus Audi R8 driving experience in North Yorkshire. Enjoy a comprehensive safety briefing and an introduction to race driving, courtesy of a friendly instructor. Once familiar with racing lines and track handling techniques, it’s time for the main event, so get behind the wheel of the sensationally fast Audi R8 for six blistering laps of Leeds Raceway. After catching a little breath, drive either the Aston Martin DB9 or V8 Vantage for a further six thrilling laps to experience the superior handling and raw power first-hand. At the end of the experience, receive a driving commemorative certificate.

Availability: At least one Friday, Saturday or Sunday date per month from May to November. We recommend allowing several weeks advance booking notice for this particularly popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts around two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. The briefing is shared with a group. All driving is held on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and a camera will come in handy. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed at racing circuits. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt, natural fibres like cotton, rather than synthetics like nylon and narrow, flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars can be close together. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international (both parts) must be presented on the day to ensure participation. Other Info: All instructors are Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) qualified. The model of Aston Martin (V8 Vantage or DB9) is confirmed on the day, subject to availability. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
