Already a modern classic, the stunning Aston Martin V8 Vantage is the epitome of style and innovation and this is a chance to drive it at the world-famous Silverstone circuit. With 420 bhp and a 0 – 60 mph time of just 4.7 seconds, this car is as good to drive as it is to look at. Kick off with a safety briefing from a fully qualified instructor, who will talk through the racing lines and track driving techniques. Next, enjoy a demo lap before taking the wheel of the purring Aston Martin for four exhilarating laps. After a short break, drive a further four laps around Silverstone’s world-class circuit, completing a total of around 15 incredible miles of Aston Martin driving.

Availability: Runs on weekends, at least one date every month throughout the year. The circuit closes between mid-December and mid-January for the winter shut-down. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for approximately two hours, including briefing, a demo lap and around 15 miles of driving the Aston Martin. Arrive 30 – 40 minutes prior to the start time for the essential safety briefing. Numbers On Day: Share the briefing with up to 24 other participants. Just the instructor will share the Aston Martin during the drive. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record the experience. Please note that pets are not permitted. There is a coffee shop selling coffees, soft drinks and hot and cold snacks. Dress Code: Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring driving gloves if possible. A helmet will be provided. Guidelines: Silverstone lies on the A43 between Brackley and Towcester and is accessible from junction 15a of the M1, junction 10 (South) or 11 (North) of the M40. Follow the signs for Silverstone Circuit and drive through the main entrance at West 5 to the security gates. Security will then direct you to Drive Silverstone. Restrictions: Maximum weight 18 stone, minimum age 21. Minimum height is 5’2”; maximum height is 6’6”. A full manual driving licence must have been held for at least three years, to be presented on the day. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
