Drive the awesome new Nissan GT-R and either the Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9. Aston Martin’s are beautifully crafted modern classics with awesome power, phenomenal acceleration and superb handling. The Nissan is the UK’s fastest car in its price range, reaching 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph. Kick off with a briefing on driving techniques and racing lines and then take the wheel of either the Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 for four laps around the 1.8 mile long track. Then step into the Nissan GT-R for a further four laps. There’s a certificate to take home, show your friends!

Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year, at least two dates per month. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts approximately two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. The briefing is shared with a group. Other than for demonstration laps, all driving is held on a one-to-one basis. There tend to be large numbers taking part at weekends. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. A camera will come in handy. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers, including a US-style diner. Pets are not allowed at racing circuits. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and narrow, flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars can be close together. Wear natural fibres like cotton, rather than synthetics like nylon. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international must be presented on the day to ensure participation. Other Info: All instructors are Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) qualified. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
