Take the wheel of one of the world’s most sought after supercars with this adrenaline-fuelled Audi R8 driving thrill at Elvington. Kick off with a welcome introduction and run down on safety courtesy of a seasoned instructor. Once acquainted with fundamental racing lines and track driving techniques, it’s time for the real fun to begin – take the wheel of the sleek 4.2 litre Audi R8 for four sensational laps of the Elvington track and experience its relentless speed and superior handling first-hand. At the end, take home a certificate as a special memento.

Availability: Runs every Saturday and on selected Sundays (at least two per month) as well as occasional Wednesdays. The circuit is closed from early December to mid January. All booking is subject to availability. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue make contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between half an hour to up to two hours, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to 10 minutes). Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis, although briefings may be shared. During familiarisation laps in the hot hatch share the car with up to two other participants as well as the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are catering facilities on-site. Other extra (chargeable) drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability. Safety dictates that pets cannot be permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any specialist equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 4’11”, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be brought on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
