Get behind the wheel of the Audi R8 supercar – a true German masterpiece at a choice of famous circuits in Derbyshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Kent. Designers have pushed the boundaries of racing technology and futuristic construction to deliver a car which is as exciting to drive as it is stunning to look at, with a 4.2 litre V8 engine capable of reaching 187 mph. Begin with a briefing from a qualified instructor who talkS through racing lines, techniques and best handling and at some venues be driven around the circuit in a hot hatch for two or three demo laps before putting the theory into practise. Driving time can vary but is normally up to six miles. Be prepared for an absolutely thrilling drive in a piece of sophisticated engineering.

Availability: Availability varies between each venue, check each one for details. We recommend allowing several weeks advance booking notice for this particularly popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue will be in contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between one and a half to two hours, including briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to six miles or ten minutes in total). Please arrive in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. During any familiarisation laps in a hot hatch, share the car with up to two other participants as well as the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment is provided. Guidelines: Further location details will be forwarded once you have made your booking. Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum height is 4’10”, maximum 6’5”. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be brought on the day in order to participate.
