The Belmond Northern Belle, sister train to the Belmond British Pullman, conjures up images of a more glamorous age. Find out just why it has such a fabulous reputation, and revel in luxury and nostalgia en route to abrun. Inspired by the Belle trains of the 1930s, each luxury carriage has its own unique character. Begin in style, with brunch and Bellini. On arrival disembark for a tour, usually followed by some free time to explore. On the return journey, relax and enjoy a glass of champagne and a sumptuous meal with wine. The exact itinerary of this day out depends on the choice of destination, but we’re confident passengers will fall in love with this romantic train.

Availability: Dates from April – November are available from locations across England, Scotland and Wales. Due to popularity, we recommend booking very far in advance to avoid disappointment, all bookings are subject to limited running dates and availability. Weather: The weather should not affect the experience, however please note that the train runs on the public rail network and is subject to any imposed delays (although this is one train that no-one minds being delayed on). Duration: Trips last for 11 hours or more, sometimes as long as 18 hours (depending on choice of destination). Receive tickets, confirmation of departure times and a full itinerary by post shortly before the departure date. Numbers On Day: Up to 42 passengers share the carriage. Most seating takes place within a table of four people. There are some tables for two on the train which are allocated subject to availability on the day. Spectators: Dress Code: Smart casual wear (no jeans or trainers). Please remember that for part of the excursion guests are outdoors. Guidelines: Receive further details when a date has been booked. Restrictions: Minimum age 16. If a vegetarian meal is required, please advise at point of booking. Smoking is not permitted on board. Only folding wheelchairs can be stored on board and some mobility is required on the train and the excursion. Other Info: Valid only for dates in the schedule that match the value of your voucher.
