Description

Get to grips with some of nature’s powerful and statuesque hawks and falcons whilst learning about the ancient art of falconry. This brilliant experience involves spending a full day at the centre experiencing falconry first-hand. To begin you will get some background information including the types of hawks used and a history of the sport, then enjoy some practice time flying various birds. After an included lunch, take part in flying some falcons, including the peregrine (traditionally the falcon of kings and nobility) and one of the fastest creatures that has ever lived on this planet.
