A day out on Northumberland fields with some of the world’s most sophisticated birds of prey is really a thrilling experience – seeing the might and power of these flying beasts up close is unforgettable. The day begins with introductions to the various birds of prey – this is real hands-on experience and after getting familiarised with the birds, there is a chance to hold and fly owls, hawks, falcons, vultures and eagles. The day concludes with a hawk walk. Fly a hawk free through open countryside and have it come back to land on the glove – truly exhilarating. Bring along a camera for excellent photo opportunities and tea and coffee is included for refreshment.
