Step into the shoes of a brewer for the day at Islington’s Brewhouse and Kitchen, a fitting treat for a hop-headed beer lover. Begin with breakfast, before learning about beer brewing from the venue’s head brewer, as well as rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in! Step into the micro-brewery and try your hand at mashing in, boiling and adding hops, making the magic by adding yeast and more. Afterwards, sit down to a well-earned pub lunch and, with expert guidance, taste a mouthwatering selection of Brewhouse’s very best beers (such as Suffragette Ninja, named after local martial arts instructor, Edith Garrud). The day ends with a Q and A, and everyone collects a five litre keg of the beer brewed on the day two weeks later.
