Description

Learn the fine art of craft brewing in Colwick, Nottingham. Upon arrival, jump straight in and begin mashing the malts. Then, after a breakfast bacon buttie, meet one of the friendly brewers and learn about the technical aspects of brewing, followed by a question and answer session. Next move onto learning about sparging, before tucking into a light lunch accompanied by some sample beers. The afternoon is spent getting stuck into brewing – digging out the mash tun, boiling, adding hops, fermenting and pitching the yeast. More technical aspects of brewing are discussed with another chance to ask questions. Around a week after the experience, return to collect an 18 pint beer box of the beer brewed on the day – delicious!
