Description
As England’s largest single estate vineyard, Denbies is an idyllic location to indulge in a spot of cheese and winemaking. Begin with Danish pastries, tea and coffee on arrival, before heading to Norbury Blue to get hands-on with each step of the cheese making process, from ‘cutting’ the curds and whey, to loading the moulds. Afterwards, Denbies put on a tasty three-course hot lunch, which is followed by a wine tasting session – sample a selection of award-winning estate wines under the guidance of an in-house expert. Spend the rest of the day working in the winery and learn aspects of the production process, including wine blending and grape variety.
