Travelling by helicopter has long been a favourite for the rich and famous, and for good reason. Seeing the landscape from high above is one of the best ways to take in the beauty of the local area. This wonderful helicopter tour for two takes off from Greenlands Farm Village in Carnforth before heading North West where you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Morecambe Bay and Lake Windermere. On approaching the lake the charming town of Bowness is visible beneath as well as Belle Isle, the largest of the 18 islands that pepper the surface of Windermere. Just be sure to bring a camera for snapping all of the amazing views. Upon landing you’ll both be treated to a cream tea to finish off the day in style.

Availability: Flights take place around one weekend date per month from April – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a a safety briefing and a flight time of ten minutes.
