Description
Cruise along the River Orwell, setting off from Ipswich Dock, for a wonderful sightseeing adventure with lunch. Board the barge just outside the Old Customs House, a lovely area filled with cafes, shops and, of course, boats. Spend about 15 minutes in the lock before heading out on this most scenic and historic of rivers, sailing under Orwell Bridge, past Woolverstone and beautiful Pin Mill, one of the most painted places on the East Coast. While on board, enjoy a tasty ploughman’s lunch and pudding, relaxing and taking in some of Suffolk’s most stunning countryside on this blissful three hour cruise.
Availability: Available one midweek date per week from March to October. Weather: The experience takes place in all weather conditions apart from extreme conditions such as flooding. Duration: Cruises last approximately three hours. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of 50 people on board.
