Find out just how agile the monstrous dumper truck can be by taking it for a spin around a specially designed race course. You’ll begin with a full safety briefing before becoming acquainted with your forcible truck for some initial training. Despite their build, these vehicles are actually surprisingly nimble and zippy. Once you have got to grips with the controls, you’ll race your dumper around a pre-determined course, in an attempt to beat other racers whilst avoiding penalties. The fastest drivers will go head-to-head in a grand final. Do you have what it takes to be the champ?

Availability: Runs approximately one Saturday evening a month between March and September, but days may vary throughout the year. Weather: Racing may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice or heavy rain, when driving might become dangerous. Call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts around two and a half hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time for a welcome address. Numbers On Day: A maximum of 28 people take part. Everyone competes in two heats racing against the clock. Spectators: You are free to bring as many guests to spectate as you like – no charge! Undercover seating is available if it’s raining, but they’ll only be able to watch all the action from outside. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dress Code: Dress warmly and wear flat shoes, or boots if it’s wet day. The event is held on tarmac or rough terrain so please be prepared that if it’s been raining you may get a bit muddy.
