Looking for a daring aerial thrill? When it comes to aviation, a microlight flight is about as extreme as it gets. After a fascinating pre-flight briefing, climb into a dual-controlled flex wing GT450 microlight flexi wing and prepare for the flight of a lifetime. Soar through the skies in the open cockpit and feel the wind as glorious views of rural Bedfordshire unfold underneath the aircraft. The instructor takes off and lands, but during the flight, there’s a chance to take over the reins and feel the pure rush of piloting one of these nimble aircraft. As a special memento, bring along an SD memory card and the flight can be filmed in HD (at no extra cost) to show off those flying skills to friends and family. Will you catch the flying bug?

Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential to call the venue (before 8.30am) for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it can re-booked for an alternative date or time. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to an hour and a half including a briefing and 60 minutes of microlight flying time. Numbers On Day: The briefing might be shared. The flight is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. Dress Code: Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. A helmet and insulated flight suit are provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 14 (those under 16 must have parental consent in order to fly).
