Are you ready for a family bonding day with a difference? Experience the great outdoors like never before with a family bushcraft day for two adults and two children that will have you learning new skills while making wonderful memories. During the day families are taught to build a fire without matches, build shelters from natural materials, and even source and purify water. Of course, there’ll also be some time to toast some marshmallows over the camp fire. Classes take place in the picturesque Chew Valley, which is recognised as an area of stunning natural beauty. Getting back to nature can be hungry work, but don’t worry because a light lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

Availability: At least one weekday and weekend per month throughout the year. Weather: Duration: Classes start at 10.00am and finish at 4pm. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to 16 others, plus an expert instructor. Spectators: Dress Code: Activities are conducted outdoors. We recommend wearing old or inexpensive clothes, wellies, old trainers and waterproofs. Sensible footwear is necessary as the ground is sometimes uneven.
