Description
Take the family and enjoy a more relaxing way of travelling around London, seeing the sights on a river cruiser along the Thames. Board the city cruiser and head down the river towards Greenwich. The cruise gives an insight into the layers of history that have built up along the river, with great views of the Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern, St. Paul’s and many more London landmarks. It’s possible to disembark at any one of piers, explore, and then get back on later.
Availability: Operates seven days week, subject to availability and excluding Christmas Day. Weather: Cruises operate in all weather conditions. If in any doubt please call City Cruises on the morning of the experience. City Cruises reserve the right, where necessary, to re-route vessels for reason of safety without prior notice. Duration: The sightseeing Thames cruise ticket is valid for three days. Boats run daily from approximately 10am – 6pm. Numbers On Day: The river cruiser carries a maximum of 250 passengers. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave from the river bank. Dress Code: If planning to explore London on foot, we’d recommend comfortable, flat shoes. Guidelines: Please refer to City Cruises website (http://www.citycruises.com/maps.htm) for a map to the pier. As a guide, it is within easy walking distance of the nearest underground (Westminster on the Jubilee, Circle and District lines). Take exit one from the tube and turn left. Continue straight to the bridge ahead, turn left at the set of stairs and follow them down to City Cruises where the ticket office is clearly signed. Restrictions: This experience is for two adults and up to three children aged between five and 16 years (under five’s go free). Most boat offers full wheelchair access. Other Info: There are refreshment services on the cruiser. Smoking is not permitted on board. Please present the booking confirmation letter at the City Cruiser ticket desk.
