Take the reins of an Italian motoring classic with this high-octane Ferrari 458 driving experience at Elvington Race Track. To start, receive a welcome introduction and safety briefing with a seasoned instructor. Once acquainted with the essential racing lines and track driving techniques, it’s time for the main event – take the wheel of the astounding 562bph Ferrari 458 for a total of four rip-roaring laps of the purpose-built Elvington track and find out first-hand why this rapid race car is so highly-acclaimed. At the end, take home a commemorative driving certificate.

Availability: At least two weekend dates per month from February to November. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking several weeks (at least six) in advance. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact will be made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There are likely to be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are catering facilities on-site. Extra (chargeable) drives are available on the day. Safety dictates that pets cannot be permitted. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 4’11”, maximum is 6’5”. Max weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence is required to guarantee participation. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
