Once you’ve driven a Ferrari, no other car comes close. This stunning Ferrari F430 Coupe is light and compact with a 4,308cc engine that gives the car its name. Your experience starts with a briefing on safety and track driving techniques. Next you’ll warm up with four laps of Knockhill’s 1.3-mile championship race track behind the wheel of a new Honda Civic Type R, to help you learn the racing lines and familiarise yourself with the circuit layout. Then enjoy two demonstration laps by your instructor to show you how it’s really done. Finally it’s time to strap into the fantastic Ferrari F430 Coupe, driving for six awe-inspiring laps. End with a certificate presentation. This will really be the drive of your life!

Availability: Approximately one weekday date per week throughout the year, with greatest availability during the summer months between July and September. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Your experience will last for up to one and a half hours including a 15 minute briefing, tuition, driving time and a debrief. Arrival is vital at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Numbers On Day: A maximum of three people share each session, to help ensure lots of time with the car and instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome; ask them to bring a camera. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuit. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and slim, flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars are close together. Don’t wear nylon. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: From Edinburgh: take the M90 across the Forth Road Bridge towards Dunfermline then join the B914 at junction 4 (signed Kelty) then go onto the A823 – Knockhill is on the right. Alternatively from Glasgow: follow the A977 to Powmill and take the turn off to join the A823 as noted above. Restrictions: Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5’0”, maximum 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: Professional photographs can be purchased on the day. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
