Driving a Ferrari is something that many of us dream of. Now drive one of the most desirable marques in the world at Prestwold Driving Centre in Leicestershire. Be speechless on the track in one of Maranello’s breathtaking beauties. Receive a short briefing from a qualified instructor who will drive for two laps of the Prestwold Hall circuit in a hot hatch to demonstrate driving techniques and racing lines. Then take the wheel of either the Ferrari 355, 360 or 430 – each capable of over 170 mph – for four laps. The circuit is 1.8 miles long – plenty far enough to put these amazing cars through their paces. After driving for seven miles, receive a commemorative certificate to take home.

Availability: Selected Saturdays and occasional weekdays. We recommend allowing several weeks advance booking notice for this particularly popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between half an hour to an hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to 10 minutes in total). Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. During your familiarisation laps in the hot hatch, share the car with up to two other participants as well as an instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Prestwold Hall has an American-style diner with food, refreshments and a view of some of the circuit. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special equipment is provided. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be brought on the day in order to participate. Other Info: Feel free to spend the day watching the other experiences taking place. The model of Ferrari driven will be confirmed on the day. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
