Begin with a full briefing and a demonstration lap from a qualified instructor before taking the wheel of the refined Ferrari F360 for six miles of exhilarating driving. With a top speed of 183 mph and acceleration rate of 0 – 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, the Ferrari offers pace and handling in abundance. Next, drive a further six miles in the Atom, with an ultra-lightweight chassis, no roof and no door, this is no average looking sports car and it can reach 0 – 60 in an amazing 2.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 150 mph. Expect to leave Donington Park Race Circuit grinning from ear to ear.

Availability: Available in 2017 on the 25 August and 27 October only. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking 12 weeks in advance. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the number on the day of your experience if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for around two and a half hours, including your briefing and approximately 30 minutes driving. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on-site. Please note that animals (apart from guide dogs) aren’t allowed at the circuit. Dress Code: Wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. Helmets will be provided. Guidelines: Exit the M1 at junction 23a or junction 24 and follow the signs for East Midlands Airport (A453). Drive past the traffic lights at the main airport entrance and follow the brown tourist signs for Donington Park. On entering Donington Park follow the brown tourist signs for ‘pits and paddocks’ and make your way to the Paddock Suite in the main paddock area through the security gate. Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5’3”, maximum 6’4”. You must have held a full British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months which you must bring with you on the day in order to participate. Other Info: The race circuit is MSA-approved for quality and safety, and is a founder member of the Association of Racing Drivers’ Schools, with all instructors being ARDS qualified. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
