Description

Test two very different but equally satisfying supercars at Oulton Park, one of the UK’s premier race circuits. Kick off with a safety briefing before receiving a demonstration lap to understand important track driving techniques, courtesy of a fully qualified driving instructor. Afterwards, climb into the passenger seat of the classic Ferrari F360 for six adrenaline-pumping laps of Oulton Park’s challenging circuit. After catching some breath, conclude the session by driving a further six miles in the sleek Audi R8.

Availability: At least one date every other month throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking 12 weeks in advance. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the number on the day of the experience if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for around two and a half hours, including a briefing and approximately 30 minutes driving. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on-site. Please note that animals (apart from guide dogs) aren’t allowed at the circuit. Dress Code: Wear trainers or flat-soled shoes and avoid nylon clothing. A helmet will be provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum height is 4’10”, maximum 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: The race circuit is MSA-approved for quality and safety, and is a founder member of the Association of Racing Drivers’ Schools, with all instructors being ARDS qualified. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
