Looking for an extreme aerial thrill? When it comes to aviation, a microlight flight is about as exciting as it gets. Hop aboard a dual-controlled flex wing GT450 microlight and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Soar through the skies in an open cockpit and feel the wind on your face as glorious views of rural Bedfordshire unfold beneath the aircraft. The experience kicks off with a full and fascinating briefing and during the flight, there’s even a chance to take over the controls to feel the rush of being a real microlight pilot. As a special memento, bring along an SD memory card and the flight can be filmed, at no extra cost, in HD so that you can show off those flying skills to friends and family. Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential to call the venue (before 8.30am) for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it can re-booked for an alternative date or time. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to one hour including a briefing and 30 minutes of microlight flying time. Numbers On Day: The briefing might be shared. The flight is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. Dress Code: Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. A helmet and insulated flight suit are provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 14 (those under 16 must have parental consent in order to fly).
