These iconic 4×4 vehicles are certainly not built to impress on the nation’s motorways – they were designed specifically with these off road driving experiences in mind. Drive the latest Land Rover products and prepare for the drive of your life – push the vehicle to its full capabilities driving across the Bedfordshire countryside for up to 80 minutes! Begin with a thorough safety briefing with a dedicated instructor, who puts your driving skills through their paces before heading off to the tracks and forests to the technical driving area. A full day off road experiences provides freedom and tranquillity, whilst testing you physically and mentally at the wheel. Lunch at a nearby hotel is included.

Availability: A Wednesday – Saturday date around once a month throughout the year. We recommend giving several weeks advance notice for the most popular weekend dates. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather (like flooding or high winds) which makes off road driving dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Don’t despair if it’s pouring; wet weather often makes the best 4×4 driving conditions. Duration: Lasts for around six hours, including at least 80 minutes of personal driving time. Numbers On Day: Share the session and Land or Range Rover with two other participants, taking turns to drive. The instructor is in the vehicle at all times. Spectators: Due to the off road nature of this experience, it is not possible to accommodate spectators, but guests are welcome to come along and wait (but please be aware there are no facilities on-site). Dress Code: Dress for the outdoors, with stout footwear and a waterproof jacket. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. A full manual driving licence held for more than 12 months MUST be presented on the day. If you have six penalty points or more on your licence please contact us as we have to refer this to our insurers. Other Info: All these venues are British Off Road Driving Association members with instructors specially trained by Land Rover. They do their best to get you behind the wheel of your preferred model, subject to availability.
