Description
Visit some of the key film locations in Northern Ireland of the hugely popular Game of Thrones TV series and see iconic sites from multiple series. Follow a local guide who is a fan both of the George Martin books and the TV series, discuss information from the show and hear tales of legend and local history. Leave central Belfast and head to the eerie location where Melisandre gave birth to the shadow assassin. Next, onto Carnlough for lunch in the coastal town of Ballycastle, hometown of actor Conleth Hill (who plays Lord Varys). Visit the Camp of Renly Baratheon of Storm’s End with time to explore the UNESCO listed Giant’s Causeway. Finally, stop at photographically stunning intertwined trees known as The Dark Hedges.
