The most memorable way to explore the South Downs is by foot, and for those who love the great outdoors, there’s no better adventure than this guided walking tour. Pack your rucksacks, put on your walking boots and set off on an unforgettable walking tour that covers the most beautiful, breathtaking and amazing parts of the South Downs National Park. Follow an experienced guide and learn all about the intriguing geology of the area, brush up on navigation skills, follow in the footsteps of Roman armies and keep eyes peeled for Red Kites, hares, rare butterflies and many other rare and wonderful creatures. During the tour, enjoy a well-deserved rest in a traditional Sussex country pub and don’t forget to take a camera!

Availability: At least one weekend date per month throughout the year. Weather: This experience is only cancelled in extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off. Duration: Starts at 9.30am and lasts between three and four hours. Numbers On Day: Share the adventure with up to 18 other keen walkers, plus an experienced guide. Spectators: Dress Code: Please wear walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Participants must be able to walk unaided.
