Get an authentic feel for competition-speed driving with a fantastic high-speed passenger ride experience at the Lydden Hill Circuit in Kent. After a short safety induction from an instructor, get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Hop into the passenger seat of a race-prepared Vauxhall VXR and enjoy taking laps of the mile long circuit – this fine vehicle demonstrates the agility and acceleration of a high performance car without the need to drive around yourself. Sit back, strap in and enjoy, you’re in safe hands!

Availability: Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact is made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: The ride lasts for a few minutes. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share the car with just the driver. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Maximum height is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum age is 16. Under 18’s must be accompanied by adult. Over 50’s need a signed doctor’s certificate if they have a heart or any other serious medical condition. Other Info: Please note: you won’t drive the car yourself. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
