Get an authentic feel for competition-speed driving with a fantastic high-speed passenger ride experience at the Prestwold Driving Centre in Leicestershire. After a short safety induction from a qualified instructor, get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Hop into the passenger seat of a race-prepared Vauxhall VXR and enjoy two laps of this 1.8 mile circuit – this fine vehicle demonstrates the agility and acceleration of a high performance car without the need to drive around Prestwold Hall yourself. Sit back, strap in and enjoy!

Availability: Weekend and weekday dates throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact is made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: The ride lasts for two laps, lasting for a few minutes. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share the car with just the driver. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome at Prestwold Hall, which boasts an American-style diner with a great view of some of the action. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Maximum height is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum age is 16. Under 18’s must be accompanied by adult. Over 50’s need a signed doctor’s certificate if they have a heart or any other serious medical condition. Other Info: Please note: you won’t drive the car yourself.
