Take a short boat trip from Portsmouth on the mainland, just a mile and a half from the Isle of Wight, and then step aboard the impressive private man-made island of No Man’s Fort in the Solent. This former Victorian sea fortress boasts a multi-million pound refurbishment. Take the opportunity to be privately guided around a huge range of unique and fascinating facilities, taking in the many fully restored original features and luxurious contemporary feel. After the guided tour around all four floors of the fort, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with other guests in the grand setting of the Mess Hall. Round things off by taking in the spectacular views around the firepit on the top deck, before preparing to reboard the boat to return to the coast.

Availability: Available most Wednesdays throughout the year. Weather: In rare cases, it may be necessary to postpone or cancel if safe transit is not possible. Expect to be notified in advance and rebooked if this occurs. Duration: Around midday, take a thirty minute boat journey to No Man’s Fort, then spend up to four hours exploring the fort. Numbers On Day: The fort can accomodate up to 120 guests. Spectators: Dress Code: Smart casual, with water resistant clothing, flat shoes and a jacket or coat for the boat journey. Guidelines: Restrictions: Guests aged 18 and over are welcome. The Forts aren’t suitable for the elderly or those with restricted mobility, advise of any mobility issues at the time of booking to see if needs can be accommodated. Pets (excluding guide dogs) are not allowed.
