For a real adrenaline rush, look no further than this hovercraft blast in Cheshire. Capable of speeds up to 40 mph, these amphibious vehicles provide a thrill like no other – and with no brakes, it takes some skill to race one of these bad boys! Kick things off with a briefing before getting kitted out in safety gear and learning practical hovercrafting skills from the instructor. Once revved up and ready to go, it’s time to fly as you unleash those newfound hovercrafting skills on a specially designed two and a half kilometre course which covers both land and water sections. Race against the clock in a bid to become the day’s fastest racer and be added to the all-time leader board – awesome!

Availability: Friday – Wednesday throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: This experience may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions including flooding or high winds. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off. Duration: Lasts up to an hour and a half, including a briefing, tuiton and four laps of hovercraft racing action. Numbers On Day: Share with five other participants, plus an instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. The venue is equipped with toilet facilities and refreshments can be purchased on-site. Dress Code: Dress suitably for the outdoors with trainers or wellies (open shoes and steel toe caps must not be worn). All specialist equipment is provided and waterproofs can be hired on the day, if required. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is seven (children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Maximum weight is 18 stone.
