This state-of-the-art indoor climbing wall is the perfect way to conquer the challenging art of climbing. You’ll begin with a full briefing on safety and basic climbing techniques, where you’ll learn the foundations of abseiling including belay, how to tie in and the essential moves you need to scale grooves and overhangs on your way to the top. Your fully qualified instructor will be on hand to give you supervision and encouragement throughout, so we can guarantee you’ll be in safe hands. Climbing is both exciting and fun – you’ll end your day with a massive sense of achievement.

Availability: 9am to 10pm, seven days a week. Allow at least four weeks advance notice for weekend bookings. Book during off-peak periods (weekdays, excluding bank holidays, from March to July and September to January) and get an extra 20 minutes’ climbing free. Weather: Duration: Your experience will last for about one and a half hours, including briefings, kit issue and a minimum of one hour 15 minutes in the rock bay. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: A 6:1 ratio of clients to instructors gives the best input and most climbing. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can watch from a special viewing area. There is a cafe serving hot and cold drinks and a selection of food. Dress Code: Please wear tight-fitting sportswear if you have it. Hire of all climbing equipment including footwear is included. Guidelines: Kinlochleven is in the western highlands of Scotland near Ben Nevis and Glencoe, around two hours’ drive north of Glasgow. From the A82 take the B863. Once you enter Kinlochleven the venue is well signposted. Restrictions: Minimum age is seven. Parental consent is required for under 16’s. There are no weight or height restrictions. Please be aware that you are required to sign and complete a disclaimer on the day before you can participate in your experience. Other Info: At 1,200 square metres, this is the UK’s highest articulated rock climbing wall, featuring a variety of angles to suit beginner and intermediate climbers.
