Want to get a taste of surfing without having to brave the sea? This fun-filled indoor surfing experience in Cardiff is a great way to pick up the basics and it’s just like the real thing. Start with an introductory briefing and once kitted out in your wetsuit, hit the surf – hop onto the surf simulation machine and start off horizontally on a bodyboard. Once familiar with riding the water jets, it’s time to progress to a full stand up surfboard. Learn how to catch a wave and go from paddling to standing under the guidance of a professional instructor. After a while, feel the full thrill of this increasingly popular extreme water sport – will you catch the surfing bug?

Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Duration: Lasts around 90 minutes including a briefing and time to surf. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share with up to nine other keen surfers. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are toilets and a cafe on-site. Dress Code: All specialist equipment is provided, but please bring swimwear, a towel and £1 coin for the locker. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age is 12. Under 18’s must have their medical consent form signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.
