Description
Equally suited to either a novice or those with a little experience, this tailored wakeboarding session at Bedford’s Box End Park is a perfect introduction to one of the UK’s fastest growing watersports. All specialist equipment is provided and each instructor is a seasoned professional with years of wakeboarding experience to help make sure you get the best out of the session. Head to the dock for a briefing, then get strapped into a kneeboard and hit the lake for a few spins on the cable tow. Once acquainted, it’s time to progress onto the real thing so strap into the wakeboard and hit the cable tow once again to practise some moves. When ready try out some special moves with an instructor on hand at all times to offer tips and advice.
Availability: The venue is open all year round. Please check at the point of booking for any seasonal time changes. Weather: Duration: Lasts around two and a half hours, including a briefing and two hours of wakeboarding tuition. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to 11 others, plus a fully qualified instructor. Spectators: An unlimited number of spectators are welcome and Box End Park has its own fully-equipped club house with full disabled access and facilities. Dress Code: Please bring suitable swimwear and a towel. All specialist wakeboarding equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age 10. Must be able to swim at least 50 metres comfortably. Advise of any medical conditions when booking, e.g. back or neck problems, or MS, which can affect grip. Not suitable for pregnant women.
