Get in touch with your industrial side and take the wheel of something a little different with a fun-fuelled JCB driving session available at three great Diggerland locations across the country. Following an introduction and an all important safety briefing, climb behind the controls of a colossal eight and a half ton JCB to prepare for action! Under the tuition of an expert instructor, get to grips with the amazing capabilities of the mighty JCB and learn how to dig and fill holes. Steer and drive like a professional – this is driving like you’ve never had experienced before! In addition, receive a whole day’s access to one of the three Diggerland parks (in Devon, Kent or Yorkshire) and explore the many fun-filled rides and attractions on offer.
Availability: At least three dates per year (could be any day of the week) between April and October. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like heavy snow, flooding or high winds, which would make it dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts for 90 minutes in total, including a safety briefing and introduction. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to three other participants. Each person is allocated their own digger and one qualified instructor looks after the group. Spectators: Up to two guests go free of charge and any additional spectators pay £19.95 each on the day, including access to Diggerland Park. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and anybody less than 90cm tall gets in free! Dress Code: Bring a change of clothes and shoes/boots are fine to get muddy or dusty. If it’s raining, bring wellies and overalls if you have them (trainers are no good in the wet). Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. A full manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation, however, no other special experience is necessary.
