Description
Calling all budding junior racers! Put that pedal down to the metal at Rye House, the place where Lewis Hamilton drove his very first kart. On arrival, receive a fun and informative safety briefing before meeting your kart for the day. After putting on special race wear and strapping into the kart, it’s time for the real fun to begin! Speed around Rye’s thrilling race track for a whole 30 minutes, guiding the kart around every twist, turn and straight at an amazing pace – trust us, these little racing machines are fast! There is even a private grand stand where friends and family can watch all of the action and get some great souvenir snaps.
Availability: Runs at least once a week (could be a weekend or a weekday) throughout the year. Weather: The venue is not weather dependent but should the organisers feel conditions on the day are at all dangerous, a full credit would always be offered. Duration: Lasts around one hour and fifteen minutes, including 30 minutes of driving time. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of 12 karts on the circuit at any one time. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome to come along, cheer and make use of the on-site cafe and club facilities, which include a balcony, grand stand, paddock enclosure, adventure playground, crazy golf course and laser tag. Dress Code: A racing suit and helmet are provided. Wear flat shoes and remove any scarves when driving. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 8, maximum age 15. Minimum height is 4’4”.
