Description

An exciting chance to get behind the wheel of a heavy duty off road vehicle (a Land Rover, Mitsubishi or something similar) and learn new driving skills before you even have a licence. This two hour 4×4 off road session is ideal for any young petrol head. Begin with a safety briefing, a demo drive and some guidance from the instructor, before jumping into the driving seat and setting off around the specially designed off road course, filled with extreme slopes, steep angles and water traverses. It’s a one-on-one session, meaning the driving is all yours and not shared. Splash through water crossings, learn techniques and manoeuvres to cope with the unpredictability of off road driving and develop skills you never even knew you had.

Availability: Seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous (please call the venue if in any doubt). If this happens, an alternative date will be rebooked. Duration: Lasts around two hours including a briefing, instructor demonstration and at least 90 minutes of hands on driving. Numbers On Day: Apart from the instructor demonstration, you are the only person driving the 4×4. Spectators: Not suitable for spectators, however up to two passengers can choose to ride in the 4×4 for a fee of £20 per vehicle (arrange and pay on the day). Drinks and snacks are available. Dress Code: We recommend sensible, outdoor clothing. Ground conditions are rough and a strong shoe with ankle protection is therefore advisable.
