Description
For the perfect mix of sightseeing and adventure, kayaking on Scotland’s world-renowned Loch Lomond is hard to beat. Start with a safety briefing and basic instruction before putting on the kit, ready to hit the water. With tuition from an experienced instructor, learn the basics of kayaking including steering, handling, control and paddling. Next, test those newfound kayaking skills by exploring the one and only Loch Lomond at your leisure. This famous lake is one of Scotland’s most outstanding natural environments, so there’s plenty to look at whilst gliding across the water – and you might even be lucky enough to spot some of the local wildlife.
Availability: Runs daily from from April – October. Please allow at least seven days notice for booking requests. Weather: Extreme weather conditions may incur cancellation, in the interests of safety. Please call before setting out if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts around five hours, including a briefing and four hours of kayaking action. Please arrive up to 30 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: After a briefing and some tuition, go off and explore Loch Lomond at your leisure. Spectators: Dress Code: There are changing facilities and secure bag storage available. Please bring swimwear and towels. All equipment other than wetsuits (which can be hired for £2 each) is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 (children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Max weight 18 stone.
