For the perfect mix of sightseeing and adventure, kayaking at Scotland’s world-famous Loch Lomond takes a lot of beating. Kick things off with a lesson in basic kayak instruction, alongside a safety briefing, before getting kitted up ready to hit the water. With tuition from a professional instructor, learn the basics of kayaking such as handling, steering, control and paddling. Next, test newfound kayaking skills by exploring the one and only Loch Lomond at your leisure. Being in one of Scotland’s most beautiful natural environments, there’s plenty to look at whilst powering across the water – and you might even be lucky enough to spot some of the local wildlife.

Availability: Runs daily from from April – October. Please allow at least seven days notice for booking requests. Weather: Extreme weather conditions may incur cancellation, in the interests of safety. Please call before setting out if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts around five hours, including a briefing and four hours of kayaking action. Please arrive up to 30 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: After a briefing and some tuition, go off and explore Loch Lomond at your leisure. Spectators: Dress Code: There are changing facilities and secure bag storage available. Please bring swimwear and a towel. All equipment other than a wetsuit (which can be hired for £2) is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 (children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Max weight 18 stone.
