Go kayaking off the Scottish coast on an interactive wildlife tour. Set off from Oban and join the experts on board who will impart their vast knowledge of Scotland’s wildlife during the boat trip to the seal colony. During the journey take the chance to see whales, dolphins, sharks and white-tailed eagles, soak up the stunning scenery and make a stop at the picturesque coastal village of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Reach the stunning clear waters of the Herbidean lagoon and don your wetsuit as you kayak amongst the local seal colony, observing these extremely friendly creatures in their beautiful natural surroundings. Climb back on board for the journey back to dry land, hopefully taking photographs and wonderful memories home with you.

Availability: This is a seasonal experience that runs between April and September. Weather: This experience is cancelled in adverse weather conditions, please contact the venue before setting off if in doubt. Duration: Lasts nine hours with a break for lunch (refreshments and snacks are provided but please bring along a packed lunch). Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of 12 participants on the boat. Spectators: Dress Code: Life jackets and wet suits are provided. Please bring swimwear and sensible shoes. A change of clothes is recommended and wrap up warm. Binoculars and information guides are available on-board and bring a camera to capture those wildlife close ups. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age 18. Participants need to be reasonably fit to undertake a full day at sea. Not recommended for anyone susceptible to sea sickness. As this involves boats with ladders, it’s unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility restrictions. Other Info:
