This fantastic outdoor circuit is where a lot of top Formula 1 drivers (including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button) first got into racing, before being lured away to the big bucks. Get behind the wheel of a 6 mph electric kart on the 120 metre Paddock Circuit with straights, corners and other kids to steer around. Start off with a safety briefing by the circuit and then let your competitive streak loose with a 15 minute session in the kart. After a break to catch some breath, enjoy another 15 minute session to perfect those racing driver skills (take a pal along to drive the second half if you like).

Availability: At least one weekday date every week during school holiday breaks throughout the year (extra dates are available during the school summer holidays). Weather: Racing might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) which would make driving dangerous. You’ll be contacted if the experience is cancelled. Unused laps will be credited for another visit. Duration: Driving time consists of two 15 minute sessions. Take as long a break between sessions as you wish, but both sessions MUST be used on the same day. Numbers On Day: A maximum of four drivers out at any one time. There are other people at the circuit taking part in other activities. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. The venue has state-of-the-art clubhouse facilities serving hot and cold food and offering excellent viewing areas. Dress Code: Wear trainers or similar flat shoes. As this is an outdoor circuit, make sure to wrap up warm if it’s cold. Guidelines: From London, take A2/M2 to M2 junction 3 and keep left on the ramp. At roundabout take third exit onto A229 and next roundabout the second exit. Then you will see signs for Buckmore Park. Alternatively, from the M20, exit junction 6 and proceed up Bluebell Hill. At the top, exit left and keep to left lane. At lights take the first exit left. The nearest train station is Chatham and the nearest airport is Rochester. Restrictions: Minimum age is 4, maximum age is 7. There is no minimum or maximum weight or height. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Other Info: Please be aware that at busy times of a need to be patient whilst awaiting your turn on the circuit. The circuit are happy to allow two children (within the age range) to take one kart session each, or a single child can drive both – your choice!
