Explore the hidden world of The ENO and discover the secrets of London’s largest theatre during a guided tour of The London Coliseum for two. Commissioned by Oswald Stoll, The London Coliseum opened as a music hall in 1904. Witness a small section of an ENO working day and enjoy a tour full of stories, characters, anecdotes and facts. View the theatre as never before starting in the foyer, taking in the amazing auditorium and the backstage area. Next, sit down to a delicious cream tea at Boulevard Brasserie or The Ambassador’s No.12, as a perfect end to the day.
Availability: Runs at least two days each week (either weekdays or weekends, depending on the schedule). Excludes all school and bank holidays. Currently available until mid-May 2017. Weather: Duration: Tours start at 11am or 2pm and run for approximately one and a half hours. Enjoy afternoon tea at Boulevard Brasserie, Sunday to Friday at 1pm or 3pm or Ambassador’s No. 12 Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 4pm and Friday to Sunday 2pm to 7pm. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum number of 30 visitors on the tour. Spectators: Dress Code: The dress code is smart casual please. Guidelines: Restrictions: Anyone over the age of five is welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Regrettably, the opera house is unable to accommodate wheelchair users.
