Description

Cruise to Northea and Osea Islands, setting sail from Maldon for a wonderful sightseeing adventure with lunch included. Board the barge at Maldon Quay, a picturesque area with a rich history, before heading up past an RSPB reserve on Northsea Island with plenty of wildlife to see in a gorgeous natural habitat. Sail up to Heybridge Basin, which is the entrance to the Chelmer and Blackwater Canal, past Millbeach and finally, to the beautiful island of Osea. While on board, tuck into a ploughman’s lunch and pudding, as you relax and take in some of the most scenic countryside Essex has to offer, on this blissful two hour cruise which motors its way back to base in Maldon.

Availability: Available one midweek date per week from March to October. Weather: The experience takes place in all weather conditions apart from extreme conditions such as flooding. Duration: Cruises last approximately three hours. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of 50 people on board.
