Description
This incredible experience on the Solent features a trip aboard the luxury motor cruiser Targa 43 to view some incredible cruise liners. Joining a group of just 12 passengers, this water-based thrill begins from Ocean Village Marina where, after a safety briefing and being kitted out with a life jacket, you step onto the luxury powerboat. Glide gently towards the many cruise liners based in port at the historic Titanic Dock and marvel at the sight of the range of splendid man-made giants floating on water there. Then, under the careful supervision of a qualified instructor, take the helm and steer the boat. Enjoy a glass or two of champagne along the way, before returning to dry dock.
Availability: Runs on Sundays from early May to late September. Weather: Extreme weather conditions can result in cancellation and rebooking, please call the venue if in doubt. Duration: Lasts around two hours hours, including safety briefing and life jacket fitting of around 20 minutes. Numbers On Day: Share the vessel with up to 11 other boating enthusiasts. Spectators: Guests are welcome at the marina. Facilities are excellent and include restaurants and jetties packed with high performance and luxury powerboats. Once participants are out in the open water, it is not be possible to view the action. Dress Code: Wear casual, outdoor clothing, trainers and bring a change of clothes in case of getting wet from the spray. A waterproof jacket and salopettes can be hired for £5. Guidelines: Restrictions: Unsuitable for pregnant women and those with previous back or neck problems. Min age 8 but under 18’s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Max weight 18 stone.
