Kick off with a welcome introduction and a run down on safety from an instructor. Learn about essential racing lines and track handling techniques and then it’s time to get things going. Take the wheel of the commanding 592 bhp McLaren MP4-12C and put pedal to the metal with six miles driving the challenging Lydden Hill Circuit to experience its rapid pace and superior capabilities first-hand. At the end, take home a special driving certificate to remember this amazing drive by.

Availability: Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for around one hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to 10 minutes in total). Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A safety helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 19 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
