Test drive the super speedy Nissan GT-R at the legendary Donington Park circuit. Kick things off with a short briefing, as well as two miles of demonstration laps in a sports saloon to learn racing lines and track driving techniques, courtesy of a qualified instructor. Next, it’s time for the main event – a wild ride in the mighty Nissan GT-R. Slide behind the wheel of the 4WD, 473 bhp Nissan and experience its immense speed and sheer power with six miles of driving action out on the Donington Park circuit – a thrill to remember for a lifetime.

Availability: Available in 2017 on the 25 August and 27 October only. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking 12 weeks in advance. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to two hours, including a briefing and six miles driving the Nissan GTR. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on-site. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Exit the M1 at junction 23a or junction 24 and follow the signs for East Midlands Airport (A453). Drive past the traffic lights at the main airport entrance and follow the brown tourist signs for Donington Park. On entering Donington Park follow the brown tourist signs for ‘pits and paddocks’ and head to the Paddock Suite in the main paddock area through the security gate. Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5’0”, maximum 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be held for at least 12 months and produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: The organiser was established in 1978 and is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers’ Schools. All instructors are ARDS qualified. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
