Follow in the illustrious footsteps of Lewis Hamilton with this fast and furious Grand Prix karting experience in Hertfordshire. Kick off with an essential safety briefing before getting kitted out in race wear and meeting your zippy 360 cc racing machine. Next, take part in a high-speed 10 minute qualifying session to get acquainted with the Rye House track and determine grid position for the big race. Once revved up, compete against other drivers in a full-throttle 20 minute race and feel the incredible speed and force of the kart while trying to negotiate the track and become overall victor! To finish, the session’s top three drivers receive a trophy and everyone takes away their lap printouts as a special memento.

Availability: Runs at least once a week (could be a weekend or a weekday) throughout the year. Weather: The venue is not weather dependent but should the organisers feel conditions on the day are at all dangerous, a full credit would always be offered. Duration: Lasts around two and a half hours, including 30 minutes of driving time. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of 26 karts on the circuit at any one time. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome to come along, cheer and make use of the on-site cafe and club facilities, which include a balcony, grand stand, paddock enclosure, adventure playground, crazy golf course and laser tag. Dress Code: A racing suit and helmet are provided. Wear flat shoes and remove any scarves when driving. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 16 (under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Minimum height is 5′ and maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Unsuitable for anyone with a back or neck complaint or for pregnant women. Other Info: After the racing, feel free to relax in the hospitality suite for the presentation and a drink.
